| | | | | | | | I have been studying art since I was a small child. In Eagle Point, the small Oregon town where I grew up, I took many different types of art classes with my mother and grandmother at a local artist shop after school and in the evenings. Later we moved to the North Bend/Coos Bay area and I began working with stained glass. My mother took some classes and I learned from her when I was 16. After High School I moved to Seattle where I lived from 1983 until 2008. While living in Seattle I continued to study the arts and make glass for friends and relatives while also enjoying a wonderful career working for the King County Library System.
I am currently working as the Sherman County Public/School Library Youth Program Director.

In 2009 I married my high school sweetheart and returned to Oregon, to Moro, where I live now with my amazing husband, 2 dogs and a cat. My youngest daughter is attending EOU and my step son and older daughter are beginning careers now in Portland and Seattle. They both graduated with their bachelors recently and we couldn't be more proud of them!
I have been taking a very active role in our Sherman County Cultural Coalition having served as chair now for over a year I have recently stepped down to the role of Vice Chair. We have accomplished many great things with the grants funds awarded to us by the Oregon Cultural trust and Sherman County. I am also the publicist and webmaster for our coalition.
